Chris Robinson possesses the leadership skills and experience that are needed as Summit County reorganizes its form of government. In his professional and civic duties, Chris has proved his ability to solve problems, build consensus, and lead by example.
At the helm of The Ensign Group, Chris Robinson has helped build a diverse enterprise that includes agricultural, wildlife management, real estate development, and high-tech operations. Summit County will benefit from Chris’ vast knowledge of land-related issues that face our county today and in the future. Chris understands the balance required for effective stewardship of the land we live in. He has a first-hand understanding of production agriculture, wildlife management and conservation, open space preservation, water and property rights, and the value of reasonable compromise to achieve responsible, sustainable growth with a preservation mindset.
As a member of The Nature Conservancy’s Utah Chapter Board for the last ten years, and currently Vice-Chair, Chris has been instrumental in bringing diverse points of view together to meet the needs of landowners while preserving hundreds of thousands of acres of land for present and future generations. He knows the value of listening to and understanding the needs of both sides in order to find solutions that work.
Through his business and civic endeavors, Chris has demonstrated his ability to work with the various stakeholders to achieve quick and lasting results. Summit County needs Council members that can jump into the saddle and get to work.
